What to Expect During Covid
- In order to care for those in our community, everyone over the age of 2 will be required to wear facial masks or coverings at all times while inside the building.
- Once you arrive, you and your family will be directed to a table. Please remain seated at your table throughout the service and DO NOT sit with other families. The seating arrangement has been configured to comply with social distancing regulations in order to maintain a 6-foot distance between family units
- Hand sanitizing stations will be available for your use at all entrances and heavily touched surfaces will be disinfected before, during, and after service.
Additional Common Questions
Is childcare available?
Out of an abundance of caution, no childcare is currently available. We encourage you to bring your children into service with you. Coloring and activity pages with pre-packaged crayons will be available at each table.
Will there still be refreshments and snacks at service?
We highly value hospitality at The River Church. During this season, in lieu of our normal visiting and snack time after service, we will instead provide pre-packaged hospitality kits for you to take and enjoy on your way home. For the safety of those in attendance, we ask that masks remain on for the entirety of service.
What should I wear?
The simple answer is wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Some people dress casual and some people dress up. Either way, all people are welcome to come as they are.
Do I need to bring a Bible?
At The River Church Glastonbury, God’s Word (the Bible) is a priority. We teach from it and believe it is applicable to our lives in every way; therefore, if you have a Bible – bring it! If you don't, be sure to download and access the free YouVersion Bible app.
Will I be able to visit if I’m in a wheelchair?
Our location is accessible to people of all abilities and our vision is to continually improve the comfort level for everyone.
Again, thank you for visiting us here online. We hope to see you soon!
