George Lim

Lead Pastor

George grew up in San Diego but has never felt more at home than in Glastonbury. He didn’t grow up in church, but at 24 years old, Jesus changed his life. Since then, he's served as a worship leader, youth pastor, and now as a lead pastor. By God's grace, he's also completed his BA in Biblical Studies and MA in Practical Theology. He loves Jesus and is passionate about discipleship. He has a wonderful wife and three crazy boys! He enjoys running, coaching youth sports, and is a huge New York Giants fan. His favorite food is “Carne Asada Fries” - one of his favorite pastimes from San Diego.

Jon Owens

Worship Pastor

Jon is still trying to figure out what he wants to do when he grows up. In the meantime, he keeps himself occupied with a day job in the aerospace industry – traveling the world, meeting some great people, and earning lots of hotel points & frequent flier miles. He's in his third decade of being married to his best friend on the planet, and still can’t believe she said “Yes." Life with Jackie is amazing and keeps getting better. They have three pretty spectacular kids; yes, he's biased, but he's also not wrong. When he's not working, fathering, or husbanding, he likes to pretend he's a runner, drinks coffee (almost always black), and dives deep into good music. Speaking of music, while he wasn’t able to fulfill his childhood dream of backup keyboard player for Michael W. Smith, he considers it a privilege to lead people into God’s presence through praise and worship. However, he doesn’t do skinny jeans or plunging v-necks. 

Jackie Owens

Children's Ministry Director

Jackie is married to her dream guy, Jonny O. They have two precious babies in heaven and three here on earth. She has a deep passion for encouraging children and works as a Special Education teacher. Some of her favorite activities are praying, singing back-up for TRC peeps, awkwardly deep conversations with strangers, calling her college girl, Jordan, & watching reruns with her boys (haha): Psych with Jonathan and Numbers with Jude. An avid runner, she is currently recovering from marathon #2. She is a master of sleep and is gifted in showing love to others. Her favorite treat is Entenmann's Rich Frosted Donut Pop'ems and she is a firm believer that life isn't always good, but God is!

Janelle Lim

Hospitality & Communications Director

Janelle hails from sunny San Diego but has loved the move here to Connecticut. She just adores the seasons! She has a wonderful husband, George, and three handsome and growing boys. She loves family and ministry. She accepted Christ at the age of 13 but it was during her freshman year of college where she really committed to walking with Him. She describes it as the best decision she's ever made! She has a BA in Literature and an MA in Church Ministry and Leadership. ​She loves serving others, providing welcoming environments where community can thrive and grow. It just feels part of who she is and really fits her and her husband's heart for church planting and New England. In addition, she enjoys road trips, a great movie, cooking and creative projects.

Jazmin Santiago

Office Assistant

Jazmin was born in Hartford, CT but raised in Puerto Rico from the time she was a few months old to age five. She later moved back to CT and there to this day. She grew up in church, due to her grandparents bringing her along with them every Sunday, but it wasn’t until she was 20 years old when she understood what it meant to walk with Jesus. Now she has the privilege of serving on the worship team and in kids ministry as well. She is married to an amazing husband, Brandon, and is waiting on our good God to bless them with a little one. They continue to stay firm in faith and trust God. Apart from being a loving wife, she loves serving her family, friends and community. Singing is her passion and one of her favorite hobbies, along with painting, doing DIYcrafts and gardening. She has a creative side but also enjoys being out in nature: going on walks, hiking, biking, sightseeing and taking adventures with family & friends. Although she always looks serious, don’t be fooled, she has never been serious a day in her life. She likes a good prank but not being on the receiving end of one. Her favorite treat, if she had to pick one, is soft-serve ice cream with LOTS of sprinkles on top.
