What to expect at The River Church...
We gather every Sunday at 10 am at 300 Welles Street in Glastonbury, CT. Need directions?
At TRC, you will be greeted by a few friendly faces and handed a bulletin on your way through the doors. These wonderful volunteers can gladly direct you to service, restrooms, or our River Kids kiosk.
Additional Common Questions
What does a typical service at The River Church look like?
Our services consist of three worship songs, a sermon and time after service for hanging-out, complete with coffee and snacks. The actual service typically lasts 60-70 minutes but possibly longer should you choose to hang out after!
What should I wear?
The simple answer is wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Some people dress casual and some people dress up. Either way, all people are welcome to come as they are.
Is there something for my kids to do?
Absolutely. Check out the "For Kids" tab above or click here to find out about our awesome River Kids Ministry! We also believe families benefit immensely from time where they can worship together; therefore, we offer monthly family-friendly services where everyone gathers in the main service.
Do I need to bring a Bible?
At The River Church Glastonbury, God’s Word (the Bible) is a priority. We teach from it and believe it is applicable to our lives in every way; therefore, if you have a Bible – bring it! If you have a Bible app – open it! If you need a Bible – we have one for you!
Will I be able to visit if I’m in a wheelchair?
Our location is accessible to people of all abilities and our vision is to continually improve the comfort level for everyone.
Again, thank you for visiting us here online. We hope to see you soon!
